Individual therapy with adults/adolescents on various issues including, anxiety, panic disorder, depression, obsessive - compulsive disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, difficulties with interpersonal relationships, and low self-esteem. Major Mental Illness such as Major Depression, Bi-Polar I and II, Schizophrenia as well as Borderline Personality Disorder. Provide Dialectical Behavior Therapy to adults / adolescents. Provide couples therapy/workshops as well as pre-marital counseling and family counseling. Lead a support group, Group Hope, for people with depression and bi-polar disorder.

Workshops include: Marriage Beyond Belief and Getting The Love You Want. Leann Jenkins provides individual as well as group therapy for adults varying in ethnicity, gender and socio-economic backgrounds, using Dialectical Behavior Therapy as well as Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Ms. Jenkins currently facilitates DBT skills groups as well as a Depression/Bi-Polar support group through Group Hope. She in the process of putting together couples workshops as well as a Life Skills 101 workshop that will assist people in dealing with the anxiety of everyday life stressors.

Training and Experience

Leann Jenkins received her Masters Degree in Marital and Family Therapy from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA in May of 2000. She is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy as well as Imago Therapy. Upon completion of her Masters Degree she worked as an intern at the Marriage Family Child Center in Thousand Oaks, CA for a year and a half. At the center she provided psychotherapy to individuals, children, adolescents, and couples for various life stressor issues.

She facilitated a women's support group for survivors of sexual abuse. She also worked as an outreach program mentor providing anger management workshops to students attending schools in low-income areas with limited resources. At the center she also provided Imago Therapy to couples as well as pre-marital counseling.

Since returning to her home - town of Rockford Illinois from California, Ms. Jenkins worked at Family Counseling Services for three years where she co-facilitated both a men and women's anger management group. She also provided psychotherapy to adults, couples, children and adolescents with various issues including, Anxiety , Panic Disorder , Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder , Obsessive Compulsive Disorder , Bi-polar Disorder , Borderline Personality Disorder, difficulties with communication, anger issues and low self esteem. In addition, she provided therapy to couples and families, and provided pre-marital counseling.

Ms. Jenkins has worked both at Janet Wattles Center in Rockford, Illinois, Family Counseling Services of Rockford, Illinois, and her own private practice also located in Rockford, Illinois. At Janet Wattles Center she worked as both a therapist and a supervisor where she supervised from 5-8 case managers, each with a case- load of approximately 80 clients. She provided clinical supervision as well as administrative supervision and coaching. From 1999 to 2000 she worked at Marriage, Family, Child Counseling Center in Thousand Oaks, California.
